THIS UNIT HAS THE BEST VIEW OF ANY IN THE COMPLEX. CLOSE TO BACK POOL AND CLUBHOUSE, RIGHT NEXT TO THE TENNIS COURTS. LARGE OUTSIDE PATIO, FULL KITCHEN, SEPERATE DINING ROOM AND VERY LARGE LIVING ROOM.
This unit has a well stocked kitchen with a microwave, full size stove/oven, toaster, diswasher, garbage disposal, coffee maker, pots and pans and all dishes. Full size washer and dryer, iron and ironing board.
Hotel quality linens are provided, vaccuum cleaner, games and cards.
There are grills at both pools, on the lake and behind each building you will find a charcoal grill if that is your preference. No grilling allowed on these outdoor balconies. Plenty of well lighted parking in front of unit.
Dining guide will be in your unit, many restaurants deliver and there are many great restaurants within walking distance in the nearby village area. There are also establishments within walking distance for a fun nightlife! The fishing pier is within walking distance on the well lighted island bike paths which encompass the island. At the pier you can fish, people watch, see great sunsets, enjoy the lighthouse view, meet lots of people and enjoy the breeze! Many times you will see fisherman pull up shells in their baskets or see dolphins swimming in the waves.
There is a new miniture golf course and a new skate board park within 1/2 mile and the island also has a new water park in the lighthouse area that families love. The village area has shops of many different varieties. You can buy tackle for fishing, vintage clothing, jewlery, hand crafted art pieces, enjoy the art association offerings or just enjoy the atmosphere. Lots of good restaurants here too! Coffee shops, breakfast to die for and just about any other fare you prefer.
Just a short drive away is Jekyll Island, Fernandina Island is less than 40 miles away and Savannah is about 1 hour. Cumberland Island and Sapelo Island have ferry service that you will need reservations for. Jekyll Island has a water park, a Sea Turtle Hands on exhibit kids love and is a wealth of history. Darien, St. Simons, Fort King George and Fort Frederica are all great places to explore.
There are three great nature trails close by and a fishing dock on the frederica river, another one at Goulds Inlet and one on Jekyll Island that are excellent for fishing or crabbing.
